Today's retro-bit of the day is the Beeshu Zipper NES controller! This controller has a more similar Famicom design but it's for the NES. It is a very interesting controller especially if you are going to use it against your friends and want to attract some attention. As stated in Wikipedia:
  • Zipper - Turbo fire control pad with small removable joystick that goes into its D-pad. (Beeshu)

So apparently, there was a little joystick that would go in the d-pad in order to play certain games. It's definitely one of the more useful and interesting controllers for the 8-bit console.
